CNIB

Founded in 1918, CNIB is one of Canada’s oldest charities, and has become one of the world’s largest private agencies committed to vision health issues. We are a community-based organization, with volunteers and staff across Canada working in the fields of service and support, library services, research, advocacy, public education, accessible design consulting, fundraising and administration.

The really big thing about our site is its accessibility for people who are blind and visually impaired. The fact that an accessible site can be attractive and use the advanced features of SharePoint 2010 is very important to us and to others. (Accessibility: WCAG 2.0 compliance)
