Top Rated SharePoint Sites for 2015

In 2015, 182 websites have been submitted to our showcase bringing the total number of SharePoint-based websites to 2,895. We finally saw SharePoint 2013 based sites launches overwhelmed previous SharePoint versions but websites built with SharePoint 2010 are still used in large numbers.

This is the total number of SharePoint-based sites submitted to the showcase broken down by SharePoint version:
92 SharePoint 2013 sites.
77 SharePoint 2010 sites.
8 SharePoint 2007 sites.
5 SharePoint Online sites (Office 365). This makes total sense since Microsoft announced at the beginning of 2015 removal of Public Website feature from its SharePoint Online.

Also worthy of mention is that 89 of the SharePoint sites submitted to our showcase are responsive. Almost half of the sites submitted are responsive. Not too bad, but public facing sites based on SharePoint lag behind other CMS platforms when it comes to adopting new(er) web design techniques.
