Responsive SharePoint Websites
A website that reacts to the screen size of a device by delivering a suitable output is thought to be a responsive design. Rather than designing several websites for different screen resolutions, responsive design will enable you to design one website that specifies how it should appear on various devices.
More people are using mobile devices to access the Internet than desktop computers, hence mobile devices accessibility has become a huge priority for web developers. There is no doubt that responsive design is now unanimously accepted as the way forward especially since World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) made CSS Media Queries a web standard.
Unfortunately the overall responsive design adoption on SharePoint-based websites is very slow compared to other popular content management systems. This is probably due to shortage of skilled SharePoint designers, the lack of understanding what the responsive design benefits are and the slow corporate (bureaucratic) decision making. Like they’re saying: “Bureaucracy slows things down“.
To help our SharePoint fellows to catch up with the latest responsive design trends we released few SharePoint 2010, SharePoint 2013 and Office 365 responsive design themes.

Hi.
I’m working for a not-for-profit organisation in Norway, and we’re planning to move from a rather old non-responsive Sharepoint 2010/2013 Public website, to a responsive/UX website.
In addition to responsiveness, accessibility is even more important for us. Meaning that any person with a disability, should have equal access to the website and the information there, as any other person.
For our inhouse developed solutions we have a requirement of WCAG 2.0 AAA compliance. For purchased solutions we have a requirement of WCAG 2.0 AA.
This is somewhat higher that Microsofts support of Section 508 (that includes WCAG 1.0 requirements)
So my question is, do you know of any company that provides themes, templates, sharepoint apps, sharepoint solutions, etc for SharePoint 2013 that are not only responsive, but are also designed from an accessibility perspective ?
As it would be beneficial for us not purchase this, instead of developing it our self.
