SURF is the collaborative organisation for higher education institutions and research institutes aimed at breakthrough innovations in ICT. SURF provides the foundation for the excellence of higher education and research in the Netherlands. SURFfoundation unites research universities, universities of applied sciences, and research institutions. All of these collaborate on innovative projects to improve the quality of higher education and research. SURFfoundation initiates, orchestrates and drives innovation in ICT through knowledge-sharing, incentive programmes, and partnerships.
