Social Inclusion
The Australian Government’s vision of a socially inclusive society is one in which all Australians feel valued and have the opportunity to participate fully in the life of our society. Achieving this vision means that all Australians will have the resources, opportunities and capability to learn, work, engage in the community and have a voice. The Government identified six early priorities in which to focus its work on the Social Inclusion Agenda. In implementing its Social Inclusion Agenda, the Government is changing the way government policies and programs are designed, developed and co-ordinated across the government. This is being supported by new partnerships between all levels of government, businesses and Third Sector organisations.
