Founded in 1972 Sabelt began manufacturing car seat belts and quickly became the leaders in their field. By 1976 Sabelt has moved into the world of motor-sport by producing safety harnesses for competition cars. In this year Sabelt revolutionized the way harnesses were used by developing the first rotary release buckle. Sabelt’s passion for safety in motor-sport drove them to begin producing a range of quality race wear.
