NFA
The National Fraud Authority (NFA) came into being as a direct result of the Government’s 2006 Fraud Review. This Review examined the fraud landscape, assessing the enormous cost to the economy and the damage fraud causes to the citizens of England and Wales. The Review concluded that while various agencies and organisations across the public and private sectors were tackling fraud, greater cooperation was essential to achieve a real impact.
