Now in its eighth generation, with its roots extended to before the American Revolution. Crane & Co., Inc. maintains its reputation for quality, innovation and unmatched integrity. At Crane & Co. we’re very proud that so many important events in history have been announced and recorded on Crane paper, and we save them for posterity in our Museum.

We have been manufacturing currency and security papers for more than two centuries. We have continually supplied the United States Treasury with its currency paper since 1879.

Crane paper is made from 100% cotton fibers. Cotton paper requires fewer chemicals and produces far less waste than papers made from trees.
