Constellation Energy

Constellation Energy has a long and pioneering history in the energy industry. From our roots as the nation’s first gas light utility, our company has evolved into one of the largest and most innovative energy companies in America. Constellation Energy is a publicly traded (NYSE ticker: CEG) Fortune 500 leader, headquartered in Baltimore, with nearly 10,000 employees, approximately 12,000 megawatts of generation capacity and $15.6 billion in annual revenues (2009).

This site has over 250 pages, all done using SharePoint 2010. It was developed by Information Control Corporation for it’s client, Constellation Energy (CE), using a page HTML prototype and CE’s list of business requirements. There are several OOB Web Parts styled to meet CE’s needs as well as several completely custom Web Parts that do complex, behind-the-scenes tasks. The site went live on 3/13/2011 and the design and development of it has been completely turned over to Constellation Energy’s team. It took 12+ developers several months to complete the project.
